Jana Oliver is brilliant at scenery and character development, and please, let me come on to Beck! I love this bad boy, more than I loved Jace from the Mortal Instruments series, more than I love Sam from Shiver. He is a Southern hottie with a beautiful drawl, and even my Feminist side says he can call me ‘girl’ any time. Jana Oliver has created a fantastic world where demons run wild and it is up to trappers like Riley and Beck to help rid to world of their evil. A mix of religion, magic and reanimation; 'Forsaken' is an amazing story with so many unknown areas to be explored, especially when it comes to trapping and hunting. "Forsaken" is centred around a rare thing, an original idea - a world plagued by demons and protected by a Guild of Demon Trappers or, occasionally, by special agents working for the Pope.
